Ten Reasons Not To Believe
There’re many more reasons not to believe in the doctrines of organized religion. These are ten of my favorites, not necessarily in the order listed. You can probably think of many more.

I believe that:
There is absolutely no grandeur and no beauty in being some supernatural creature's project, whether it's a God or some other entity.
Because I know you're an ephemeral creature and you’re going to die, you’re infinitely precious to me. If you were just an immortal soul inhabiting a body, you’d be expendable. 1% of people in my city don't believe in anything.
This is according to a telephone survey conducted in Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua, México.
A local newspaper interviewed 100 people over the phone and found out that 94 percent say they profess a specific religion; 5 percent believe in a higher power but aren't members of any religion; one person doesn't believe in anything.

Does atheism define you?
Absolutely not. Atheism doesn't reflect something you are, it reflects something you are not. It is of no substance by itself. Not believing in something doesn't define who you are, just like not believing in fairies doesn't define who you are. Most people are "afairiest," in that they don't believe in fairies.
