On reading this online article - A Man Who Played a Pivotal Role in Solving the Mystery of Life | adidarwinian - while surfing the Internet, I came to know that along with Sir Charles Darwin, Alfred Russel Wallace also played a pivotal role in bringing up of the Theory of Evolution.  He was also a major contributor in solving the mystery of life.
