If you've been living under a rock since the 2008 Presidential Election, you may need the following information.
In the United States we have a stupid, fucking, unjustified Constitutional stipulation that dictates that only US Citizens who are citizens by birth are eligible for the office of the President. Whether not you agree with it, it is the law.
Now, since Barack Obama has become the President there are those who still cannot come to terms with election and have…

From http://tinyurl.com/l5kwpj Here is what I wrote though:
Have you ever had the pleasure to observe someone incredibly competent, thoughtful, skillful, and a leader in their field perform a job (such as brain surgery)? And then some fucking retard who hasn't the foggiest clue how to do this job criticizes ("What I'd do is cut right through that there Medulla Oblangata...")? Watching the way the Republicans are criticizing President Obama over his reaction to the Iranian Election…

January 20, 2009. Like many people in America, if not most of them, and along with people around the world, I watched as Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States. Yes, he did add “so help me God” at the end of Chief Justice Roberts’ fumbled prodding, but he made up for this just a few minutes later. Listening to his inauguration speech as I was writing, did I heard him say “and nonbelievers”?
Did I hear right? After I did a double-take and nearly twisted…

AMMO IS IN SHORT SUPPLY.....BUT NOT SHOT GUN SHELLS! praise the Lord and pass the ammunition..

Ok so there is this "rumor" that Obama is gonna take all the guns away. Now this guy has even said it, and yes it is on tape that he had no intentions what so ever about taking anyones guns away.
Well the myth is out there. And boy have the "yahoo's" fallen for it . Try going to the local sporting good store and check out the guns and…

I often judge a book by how much it makes me think and reflect. Frank Schaeffer's, Crazy for God: How I Grew Up as One of the Elect, Helped Found the Religious Right, and Lived to Take All (or Almost All) of It Back - certainly passed that test. The outdoors, mountains, adventures with firecrackers, hunting, hiking and, of course religion, all were a big part of my childhood and relationship with my father as it was for Frank. Some other similarities struck me as well. As the oldest, my mother…

I've been anticipating this for awhile now. It seems that the Pesident plans to keep his promises, but this is one promise we can't afford to let him keep, not without a fight. We need compassion not religion to help the needy. We recieved the following email from the FFRF earlier today. :
FFRF ACTION ALERT! URGENT!
We Need Your Help! Protest Faith-based Offices!
Dear FFRF Member:
The White House needs to hears an immediate outcry over last week's announcement…

I remember when the GOP suddenly metastasized all over the House and Senate in 1994 they were happy to say, "We're in charge, now," when asked if they would encourage input from Congressional Democrats. Then W attained - to be precise I avoid the term "won" - the Presidency only after the closest vote for the office in recent memory, followed by a stopped recount and Supreme Court-facilitated coup. His inaugural motorcade passed throngs of people protesting the seizure of their nation's highest…

If by chance you wanted to read it, here it is:
Barack Obama's Inaugural Address
My fellow citizens:
I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.
Forty-four Americans…

The National Research Council has advised the incoming Obama administration to streamline our export and visa controls on the flow of science and scientists in and out of the US. From
this Reuters article:
"Our visa controls have made it more difficult or less attractive for talented foreign professionals to come and learn what is great about this country, or to stay and help grow the American economy," the…

I know, I know... i skipped the 'indivisible' bit, but I think it's pretty clear this country can be divided. Especially on grounds of race and religion here in good old Ala-damn-bama. Anyway, I sent out an e-mail to a few members of my family today I was so giddy about Obama's nomination. I guess you could say I am tickled pink! (<-- I can get away with this phrase, I'm from the South ;P )
Yes WE did! I am proud of my country for the first time in my adult life, and glad that… Continue

I firmly believe that the Black panther ,although these men were dressed up in the Black Panther's attire, did not sent this two over zealous individual to stand outside the poling station. On the other hand, one of the individual was a legal pol watcher. The fact remains, a night stick is a weapon, and standing in front of a poling station armed with a night stick is a extremely intimidating site for anyone. However, I firmly believe that the Black Panther's party had nothing to do with this…

More reason to get rid of religion:
I have always been amazed listening to right wing's conservative Christians accusing people ,like Barack Obama, for example, who have pledged their life into helping better the lives of economic stricken working people as socialist and communist. Yet, these same right wing's conservative Christians put their faith and hopes in going to a place that is undeniable the ultimate welfare state ,called heaven, controlled by a communist…

Obama's got this election wrapped up now.
He could spend the rest of this campaign just sitting at his breakfast table, sipping a cup of coffee, and posting clips about his plans for our nation on YouTube for all I care; he's the man!

How should a non-theist who values the separation of state vote in 2008? The quick answer, "against Sara Palin" may be too simple minded. Remember Penn Gillette's' warning that the lesser of two evils is still evil. Election 2008 presents a terrible dilemma. I don't have a clue as to what Atheists should do come Election Day 2008.
This is a year when no Atheist should feel entirely at ease in casting their vote. Any way I look at it, I will either feel guilty for what I "supported"…

Although I'm certain that I will be far from the only one to draw the parallel, let me be the first one to note it here.
Hillary had her "3 AM Phone Call" ad, where she awoke to answer a crisis phone call. Now some of us know how Hillary would have felt, particularly if the call were not a true crisis. Barack Obama has just PLACED a 3 AM phone call to those whom he can least afford to offend by an early… Continue

"Seventy-five-thousand people at an outdoor sports palace, well, that's something the Fuehrer would have done"
Courtesy of none other then Ben Stein. Who else could say something so earth-shatteringly moronic?
How about CNN's Glenn Beck? In conversation with Stein:
"I've been -- I've been saying that we're headed towards a Mussolini-style presidency forever"…
