I don't believe that "Gut Feeling" is exclusively highly developed among persons without a formal education in science. There are many examples of self-educated persons who have a highly developed sense of direction that is not consciously derived.  In fact, I think a person educated in science, who is also a free thinker, will have an even higher developed and more sharpened "Gut Feeling".  The label may be the more eloquent "Intuition" or "ESP".

Any discussion about sexuality is complicated by messy overlapping categories.  Are there people who reject all homosexuality only out of religious faith?  Certainly.  Are some of them sexually uptight?  Absolutely.  However, it can equally be said that some atheists are perverts who, out of desperation or dogmatism, will have any sort of sex with anything, and have a knee-jerk sympathy for any sort of perversion. 

The marriage debate is relatively unimportant except as a distraction…

It's Monday evening and I've just finished watching Yul Brynner in Invitation to a Gunfighter (I'm on a Yul western kick as of late)--I'm sort of bored, although I have tons to do, I just don't feel like doing any of it at this time of evening. Is he who is intolerant towards intolerance any more justified to be intolerant then the intolerance he is being intolerant towards? Does his intolerance towards intolerance not make him a hypocrite?
