Sometimes I wonder why I bother blogging about religion and atheism. Does it really matter if I read and talk about religions I don't even believe in anyway? I used to believe in God, after all, so why I don't just let bygones be bygones, leave religion alone, and post about something a little more entertaining, like funny animal videos on YouTube
! It'd be a lot cheerier, and I'm sure I'd get a lot more… Continue

This is a follow-up to my previous post
on church marquee epigrams. Richard Dawkins recently initiated an anti-religious banner on a London bus, but the material was pabulum. Something like, “There might not be a God so enjoy life.”
Utterly milquetoast. Read some of the epigrams on the list that the churches post. They’re downright… Continue

Today I received a message on Facebook from a friend that I knew in YWAM (she's French, so her English isn't perfect):
Girl !!! I've been thinking of you lately? How are you?? I remembered clearly the day in india when we preached and you found the courage to share what happened to you and how God was restoring you. I admired so much what you did that day !!! I've seen on your status that you were not so crazy about all of this anymore. And i wanted to share with you that… Continue

A Druid online acquaintance of mine sent me an an email on another site stating for one thing that "Interestingly, quantum physics has proven the interconnectedness and the existence of Divine Universal Energy that the mystics have spok
en of for thousands of years."
I responded in my next letter with "'Quantum physics has PROVEN the interconnectedness and the existence of Devine Universal Energy?'. I've seen several documentaries and lectures that included quantum physics and… Continue

I wrote this blog on Myspace, intended for christians to read. I have posted it here to help other newly converted atheists in their quest for helping other theists to realize that God, in the biblical term, cannot exist.
Below are a series of questions. These are questions that I had asked toward the end of my christianity, and was never given a good answer for any of them. I challenge other believers in a god to ask these questions as well. If these questions could be… Continue

I just bought and viewed the movie "The God Complex" and it was hilarious! The parody is excellent and there are some great tunes in there. I recommend it to see. Unfortunately, it can not be seen in a theatre, you have to buy it.
I would say it was better than Religulous!
This movie comes from the same people who brought us "The Submissive Jesus". Have you got yours yet? I got mine a month ago!…

My stepson is a devout Catholic. It bothers him that I have an atheist website and a presence on several atheist forums. He has an account on my member forum, at AtheistExile.com, and follows the conversations there as a lurker instead of a participant.
He told me I should try prayer, just for a little while, to see if they come true or not.
I never approach my family members on the subject of religion but if they approach me about it, I don't hold back unless I see them… Continue

First, lets forget I asked that question because even if someone says I can't - I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I DO.
But seriously, is there anybody else out there who doesn't believe in Gods but thinks there could be a different plane of existance.
I've seen a few Ghosts, mostly Family members or fallen pets and other just random people who clung to this world after death I suppose. I've never felt scared or threatend by any of them, well... one time I thought my room shaking a bit odd… Continue

My partner replied that she does not believe and then gave a simplified version of evolution. I was impressed. What would you do?

As of 9:25 am Central Time, “No God” has gone from 8th or 9th to 2nd on the Trending Topics. **UPDATE** It is now the
top trending topic. Some people are voting for Know Peace = No God / No God = Know Peace, while others are voting for No God = No Peace. Check it out and make your voice heard!
Even if it’s not an in-depth discussion of religion, it’s apparently getting… Continue

1. - Why is Atheism such a bad thing? Atheists: never burned others at the stake, never started/engaged in a Crusade and just want to be left alone for the most part.
However with the threat of FORCED CONVERSION
, anyone would be pissed and come out swinging. Likewise, do you think we would just allow you to publicly deface our belief and ESPECIALLY with such non-sense as you, Kirk Cameron, have presented as "fact"
? Why do Extremists think Atheism is such a threat to their… Continue

Now all that is left is that pesky Pledge of Allegiance. The original version was published on October 11, 1892 and the current version was published on June 14, 1954.
The words to the current Pledge of Allegiance are:
I pledge allegiance to the Flag
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands:
one Nation under God, indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all.
Now, I will not say that the entire Pledge is wrong. Just… Continue

A lovely article by Mitchell Kahle who "de-God" his money:
Spending Godless Money By Mitchell Kahle
Recently, I started drawing and writing on my debit card like a high schooler on their yearbook. It felt cathartic to grab a Sharpie and start scribbling unspoken thoughts. Of course some bank tellers and store clerks find it odd but if Capital One can hand out customized plastic like candy then why not… Continue

So, who is the god of Abraham? Is it Yahweh, God, or Allah? Or, are they all simply one in the same?
It depends on how you define things. The Christian god is supposed to be the same god as Allah, but obviously you can’t actively believe they are all one in the same. Why? Because of the differences of laws, beliefs, and the judgments those gods are involved in. A Christian is not going to look at the things attributed to Allah, such as the prophet Muhammad and the insistence that… Continue

Adam and Eve; God created them with “free will”. Problem being that he didn’t give them intelligence to choose their all-powerful creator, whom they knew personally, and left them ignorant enough to choose to believe a talking snake instead. Since god knew this would all happen and created them as they were anyway, including the creation of angels that would rebel and deceive mankind, it is clear that this god intentionally wanted mankind to sin and not choose him. Why else would he create… Continue

This will be nice and quick for my first post.
As i was driving home today whilst going through a small town in NOTTS i noticed a huge board which read out like a questionnaire with the question highlighted being 'Is there a God?'.....
The answers were as follows 1) Yes 2) No and 3) (as far as i can remember was) Probably not.
It made me smile especially as it was directly opposite a church.
I was really tempted to tick a certain box but i didn't have a… Continue
