I think I just feel more comfortable here.

Now to be perfectly honest I have 2 other blogs. I have my live journal, mostly because my brother does and he's in Korea. I also have my myspace blog...which is my main blog. I don't think I really feel comfortable there anymore. One of my "friends" recently told my husband he had "loose morals" because he didn't have jesus in his life. I feel more comfortable here. I'm kind of excited to see what other atheists might say about my views without being attacked for my lack of faith.

Why do we think religion is necessary, again?

When it's used to justify setting an eleven-year-old girl on fire, it's probably time for all of us to rethink the "respect" we give to religion, to its practitioners, and particularly to leaders who endorse extremism in its name.

Kill ’em all and let their gods sort ’ em out.

Slow to get going

Well I was hoping to spend some time getting some thoughts down here and with the various groups and of course time has gotten away from me. Fall is a very busy time here where I work. We are in the agricultural field and so business is tied closely to the seasons. Try for quiet

My brain doesn't work very well without certain amounts of quiet and solitude. As a SAHM, I do not frequently get time to take away from family responsibilities. The only time that I really get an opportunity to think without interruption is when I go swimming.
