"Nice!!! When I was a science student I was amazed at how many formulas of math and chemistry I could conjure up in my grey matter at the same time. The problem is that I never could create new formulas like some of the…"
When I was 21 it was a very good year. I was fortunate to obtain great schools and land in Japan for duty. What a youth wake up call. The horrors of WW2 were still quite evident. My emotions have since led my philosophy.
"Religion rules from birth to death by whatever means necessary. Billions will die in the wars of religious zeal right up to our extinction. Try as we may in science to educate the masses, it has been less than successful. After all, War,…"

"The pledge and the money. 9 out of 10 folks don't even know the truth. Ah, 1954. Jefferson and Adams would be flogged today...Shameful. Not a single politician could win election today if he or she ran on a platform with the wisdom of…"
Retired Science Teacher. I am nearly 79 and fighting dangerous cancer for over 17 years. I have the vicious ONJ disease, damn Parkinson's Disease, Osteoporosis, Thyroid Disease, and many more...Ouch!! Yet, I am a boxing/striking coach and founder of our local Boxing/Martial Arts Hall of Fames.
When I joined the United States Marines in 1953 and eventually was on a boat to Japan, I found a book, 'The Origins of Species' by Charles Darwin. Sad to say, I did not have a clue to much of the language in the book. I vowed someday I would gain that knowledge. While working and raising a family I did dwell into the mysteries of science when I had the time. Finally, in 1968 I started college full time while working a night shift on the police department. In 1971 I graduated as a 'Top Ten Senior' and later I obtained my Masters with a 4.0 GPA. Finally, I had a partial science education. I then had the good fortune to receive a fellowship to Rutgers for my Ph. D. It wasn't in the cards, my wife divorced me. So, I still had a superb career teaching high school science, coaching boxing and kickboxing, and publishing a couple of books and a huge booklet every year for the hall of fames. Even though quite ill I admire the past and present men of science and justly so, our Deist Founding Fathers and the solid-rock folks who have in one way or another, discovered their real world, the reaches of the Cosmos, and recognized the fables and myths of bygone era's for just what they are: Myths and Fables.
For now, I am doing what I can for joy and happiness along with the suffering and pain that nearly everyone who lives long enough will come across. Simply put, "We are guaranteed only this life, make the best of it and be happy."
