I was raised in a home where religion was never mentioned at all. I found out about "God" when I attended public school and others spoke of this "God". It was also necessary to stand with respect for the Lord's Prayer each morning and I didn't know it - and I still don't, I was asked to leave the classroom...I didn't hear about "Creation Science" or "Flat Earth" until I got the internet. I have been running a long discussion (over 50 posts) there about being "Proud to be Atheist" because we should all be inwardly proud, and many of us outwardly proud,
seeing that atheists and humanists hold the intellectual high ground over the pathetic nonsense of the irrational, superstitious god believers.
