- About Me
- I'm an ex-fundamentalist. I can say, with all certainty, that life in constant fear of offending an angry and vengeful god was miserable. Even while I was still attending church, I would see my friends putting their lives on hold till the day they went to meet their maker and in their words "start living", and it would sadden me to no end. Life is not about waiting to die, but to savour every day that we're above ground. Atheism is a celebration of life and religion is the worship of death. Not too difficult a choice there.
I love to debate Christians.

Las Vegas, NV 89119. This gig is not joint w/ Halvason, so it doesn't involve a scholar, a professor, or any other learned person giving an erudite lecture--it is purely a social thing. Just some folks hanging out chatting, but we're all atheists, so that is cool. =)
I plan to go, so if you want, i can give you a ride. The meeting doesn't ever run late because they start early. Some ppl eat dinner there, cos the food is pretty good, some just get dessert, and some just sit around and blab.
Also those of us (ME) who have to get up super early need to get home at a decent time for work...yeah, i know, just the cold hard facts. LOL

Being now a rational thinker, you see that atheism and science, not religion, hold the answers to the world and its origins. We all continue seeking answers to the most difficult questions. It is one reason for the Nexus group ORIGINS: HOW DID EVERYTHING BEGIN?
