Rationality vs. Emotion

Can a person be rational perpetually? If so, what are the hurdles that must be overcome? Does the practice reduce one's humanity?



On a personal note, I strive to be completely rational at all times. I have yet to come across a situation in which logic and reason do not serve me at least as well as, and more often better than an emotional response.

It was with great boredom and no small sense of anticipation that I signed on to Atheist Nexus today. After setting up my account over a year ago (I think), I hadn't touched it.
