I'm very familiar with CSI. It used to be called CSICOP (Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal), but they changed the name last year. Their publication is Skeptical Inquirer, which I have subscribed to for over a decade. They also sponsor the podcast Point of Inquiry, and that is an excellent source of atheist interviews. There are many excellent atheist/skeptic podcasts available now. I like to listen to them while I walk. My wife went to IU. I, of course, went to the vastly superior Purdue University. The cat on my shoulder in the picture was our sweet little Pixel, who died of kidney failure in 2006. At the risk of making you doubt my sanity, I'll tell you a secret: I currently have six cats.

hello Ken, I just recently found a group called CSI (Center for Inquiry). I will add there mission statement "The Center for Inquiry is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that encourages evidence based inquiry into science, pseudoscience, medicine and health, religion, ethics, and society. Through education, research, publishing, and social services, it seeks to present affirmative alternatives based on scientific naturalism".I had my first meeting today. There were 7 local atheist's that attended. I am very interested in your connections with IU and hope to have guest speakers from the university attend future meetings. Cute cat! looks like a ocicat!

Hello, fellow Hoosier! My family still lives outside Indianapolis and I have lots of connections to IU (I have a niece who's attending there now). If you haven't noticed it yet, there is an Indiana Atheists group if you care to join.
