What kind of TV show do you have in mind to discuss? We have folks from 14 to 70 in the group. It will work best if it's a popular show. Sound like a good idea.

There are at least two options to respond.  One is to just add a comment, which is what I think you are doing.  The other is to hit the view thread page during an ongoing conversation, which is what I am doing now.

Because my comment is (now) out of date, so (technically) is yours. I'm now retired from American Atheists (I'm now on the board of directors) and no longer getting paid. But it's still an honor and a pleasure to be involved. And to get grief from some of these Xtn whackos.

Thank you Paul. Yes indeed Atheist Nexus is a safe and rational haven from the fictions believed by the Bible Belters.

You are thinking of Paleontologists who do research dinosaurs.  In contrast, Archaeologists (who are Anthropologists) research human prehistory and history.  This is a common mistake and I am not helping matters since I have a dinosaur photo on my page.  Don't get me wrong I also enjoy dinosaurs and the research that Paleontologists do as much as anyone.  In fact, you likely know more about dinosaurs than I do.  I can't tell one dinosaur from another, but I certainly appreciate the evidence of evolution and it always makes me ponder the millions of years that have passed.  It blows me away every time.

Hello fellow atheists!  I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims.  I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists".  I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…
