Greetings, marleen! I notice you haven't been active at Atheist Nexus since last July. <sigh> Sometimes it can seem a bit fragmented, with different groups for every interest. Please consider a group for socializing, where we talk about whatever's on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D You might feel more at home.

Hi Marleen,

Great to meet you. Thanks for your reply and friendship. I will definitely contact you when next I am in Barbados. Meanwhile I have started a blog where I intend to reflect on issues of faith and atheism. I have a short discussion on my journey from faith in Barbados, would be great to get comments or feedback from you.

Here is the link

Best wishes, will talk to you again soon, would love to hear more of your story.

Heya Marleen. Good to hear from you too. There are quite a few people i know of who are atheists as well, but I doubt they are members of this website. In terms of groups, there are none to my knowledge, although creating one would be simple.
Most of my friends know my position, but concerning my parents, I'm still in the closet as well, albeit my tendency to criticise religion and what not should hint to it.
I live in St. James btw.
Best Regards,
Amit

Good Night Miss Knight. What a welcome surprise to find another fellow atheist here in Bim. Don't feel so alone now, although I have always suspected that the majority who claim belief here are merely following some sort of communal reinforcement.
Best Regards,
Amit
