As for what to tell children who notice the difference I would think that teaching them about all religions past and present will convince them that none of them have any greater truth value than any other.

oh, no, I meant I visited Ukraine when I was a kid. But I lived in Russia back then. It was long time ago. American now, and ethnically - so many roots from so many different nations, that it's easier to call me cosmopolitan.
