So you're an atheist. Quite likely, you believe that religion has a negative impact on society and is used as an excuse for more evil than good. You probably feel discriminated against in a society that values religious piety. Most atheists find it maddening that judeo/christian values are considered intrinsic to American culture. I finally confronted my faith and embraced the fact of my atheism late last August, 2012.
