It is alway good to meet another Alabama atheist. There is a group here on Atheist Nexus for Alabama Atheists.
Also, there is a group in Huntsville/Madison called the North Alabama Freethought Association, if you would like to meet with locals. It might be the best way to find atheistic hookups. ;-)
Also, I run the Florence United Nontheists over in Florence, but that is a further drive.
