Not to mention that John the Baptist is often depicted in paintings as Jesus closest companion and very, very effeminate. One of the main arguments over whether the figure to Jesus' right in DaVinci's last supper is Mary Magdalene; many…

Can you believe that someone in the comments used the word sodomites? Who on earth would actually use the word sodomite? It's sounds like crazy talk, like something my brother-in-law would say... oh... oh yeah...

This amuses me greatly. Personally, I think the liberal Christians have the message more correct on the homosexuality issue (from a Christian POV, not mine). If homosexuality is a sin, then Jesus can forgive it just like any other sin, right? They…

Funny how that works. Give the faithful a chance to prove themselves to be loving and compassionate, and they do the opposite. Every. Fucking. Time.

It's ironic that the man who directed the play says he wants to do it to show that Christianity is about love and acceptance, but instead he's proven the opposite.

A planned play at Tarleton State University that portrays a gay Jesus has raised emotions in Stephenville to the point where a Christian radio show was jammed with protest calls and some student actors have been pressured to quit.Read more: http://www.star-telegram.com/2010/03/22/2059143/in-stephenville-college-play-featuring.html#ixzz0j3hgp9HH The motive…See More

A First Time Entry Regarding Death, Loss & "Why"

My office recently lost a co-worker to a tragic accident. The funeral is tomorrow, so it is still pretty fresh on the brain. This is the second death in the office in as many weeks, and being a big corporation, management decided to bring in a representative from our Employee Assistance Program. I understand the need for a program like this and I'm grateful to work for an employer who offers this type of service to its people, but something about the presentation made me uneasy. The rep didn't…See More
