Thanks Dan, I have noticed it helps me organize my position & my statements. One other thing I've noticed is they all seem to say the same thing, which in turns helps me lead them into positions they cannot reasonably get out of. Then they…

I am a staunch atheist and actually anti-religious. I believe most religious persons due to 'faith' actually are not rational and therefore mostly incapable of a trustable rationale. Should I invest time & effort to explain my position…

Having read Dawkins' new book and enjoying your chapter by chapter review, What do you think would be a definitive statement to not necessarily prove, but perhaps 'enlighten' a young earther?

I found myself in the same conversation with my almost four year old. I explained how things have changed over a long long long time, and I explained fossils to her (simplified) then we went to the natural history museum. She loved it and I did…

Yes, one 'bad' question was basically... 'Why don't you teach evolution through the bible, so people who believe in the bible can understand evolution?' Dawkins' answer : 'Why would I bend over backwards to try to…

I thought the 'lecture' was a little weak. It consisted of him reading passages from his new book, which I've already read. So I wasn't that impressed w/ him reading it. He did take questions and most were good, a couple really…

About Me
I have been questioning religion since I was about 12 years old and was a self described 'agnostic' until I was about 18 when I was sure I was an Atheist. Now I realize I was always an Atheist. I am proud to be an Atheist and never hesitate to inform others. I would say now, after moving back to Indiana, I have become Anti-religious as well.

That's OK Arnab. Much quicker than the second coming of Christ. Wouldn't want to be hanging by the balls waiting for that to happen.
