There's much to feel good about
because atheists and humanists hold the intellectual and moral high ground that is far removed from the pathetic superstitious god believers who are slaves to a narrow-minded controlling clergy and their imaginary beings.
There's a huge group of Dallas/Plano Atheists that has meetups every week - maybe more often than that. They're an active, friendly bunch. The Frisco group is much smaller and only meets twice per month with (hopefully) special events thrown in from time to time.
