I crossed an invisible line years ago on an atheist newsgroup where I was called out and felt humiliated by my mistake, but it was just one of those self-correcting things. Freethinking's still the right way to go, no doubt. but navigating the social aspects over the web can sometimes be tough, as I'm sure you've learned firsthand. There's truly a lot of warmth to be found amongst us and it will come again with the trust. You guys are to be commended for your grace under fire and I hope everything goes well from here.
