I don't like the idea of a government financed atheist school any more than a government sponsored religious school. Primary schools should stick to the ABC's 123's and leave indoctrination to the churches and politicians.

Been hanging out with people fifty to sixty years my senior. Noticed that there seems to be a marked difference between saying that "you don't think you believe in g-d" and saying that "you're an atheist", when the subject comes up.

When I say "atheist", people look at me like I just said "devil worshiper". I wondered if it was just the gen I hang out with or if they're all stuck on that "one needs g-d to be good" idea. Boy, I guess I need to make some new friends. Hehe
