My Progression Towards Atheism

I’ve spent my whole life slowly progressing towards atheism. I’m currently 22 and I became an official atheist probably around 18.When I was a kid I had to go to Saturday school, yes on SATURDAYS, the holy day for children who loved cartoons. I had to miss X-Men on FOX. Cutting in to my Saturday morning cartoons is not something that I have been able to forgive even to this day...ANYWAYS back on track.I was always a black sheep because I was increasingly argumentative with the teachers. I…See More

Zell replied to Mike's discussion When are you supposed to pray?
"That is hilarious, I always told people even when I was part of a religion(muslim offshoot) that they were being inconsiderate bothering god with all their little things. I think patterns of prayer are handed down. If you were raised by people who…"

Thats great! I have been here for about 6 weeks and we have gained about 650 people since then. It seems this past 10 days have been booming. I have never seen more than 80 people on chat and today it topped 300! Shit is getting crazy around here!

I see you like old school metal. That is the music I grew up on! My playlist is full of old and new. And some stuff you would say "what the fuck!"

I see you are loading the TOOL onto the playlist! Good job. I have qute a bit on mine as well. I guess you'll be around for awhile. Many join and disappear in few days. Have you explored the site very much? There is a lot going on. Check out some of the groups and discussions. You will find them interesting.

Hey Zell. It is goodd to see you are getting active on the site. Have you ever saw TOOL live? It is an amazing show. Maynard is right on cue with my feelings towards religion. He may be one of the most intellectual musicians of the day.
