- I'm 38 years old and I live in the mountains in southern California with my husband, our 5 year old son, an ancient cat named Misty and a young, rambunctious cockapoo named Ringo. Most of my life is spent either commuting to and from work or being at work. I recently started jogging and right now it's my biggest obsession. I would rather play computer games (OMG Diablo III is coming ahhhhh) than watch TV. But I love Doctor Who and I'm not sure I'm going to survive until Lost comes back...

I hope you aren't anywhere near the fires. I haven't been paying much attention to where they (too caught up in my own world I guess). My first year in Cali was 2003, wildfires were a very new experience to me. We weren't all that close but close enough to experience raining ash for a few days.
