haha Once august comes around I will be busy with little to no fun time which... actually resembles last semester. So no Canada for me. I would like to but I can't.

I didn't do anything in Utah. I was going to go hiking at the canyon but I got there so late in the day I changed my mind. Plus being on the strip the previous night sort of burned me out.

My summer's going ok. I'm not in school this summer since there weren't any available classes so I finally get a break. I did put in some vacation days spent a night in Vegas and drove to Utah. I was too broke to do anything else. lol I will save for next year and prepare.

Well I hope the Ukraine is treating you well. :) It's always nice to be with family.

You're welcome for the request. I met you in Burbank at AAI convention. You were, of course, very busy. It was a great conference. Nice to see you again!

Big speakers are so cliche... I've heard many times what they have to say and after some time it becomes boring. Fresh, new perspectives from less known people will educate you more than same old record over and over and over again. No convention i…

Schedule is out now. Very disappointed. Fuck Bilingualism! No big speakers! (sorry PZ and Dan, nice that you can at least make it. Dawkins is in Eastern US and so far is not on the list) The big ones will be in LA the next weekend!

Wyoming is better than the southeast, from what I've seen. It's still a solid red state, though. My big point was that there are no cities. The closest it has are Cheyenne and Casper, each of which are around 50,000 people. The entire state barely…

I was in Panama City this past weekend, but I didn't have any free time. I was there for my brother-in-law's pinning. He was promoted to Major in the Air Force. The promotion ceremony was full of God and Jesus references, and the invocation was give…

I saw a video, or a blog post once that listed all the uncomfortable and illogical things that a person must do, according to Jesus' own words, in order to follow him. The list included hating your family, selling all your possessions, etc. I'm pret…

It's been almost a full day, and none of them have responded. I'm hoping that's the end of it, and they have bowed to my superior sophistry. ;-)

I sometimes wear the customary leather vest with the HOG Miami logo on the back but a closer look reveals the American Atheists and Freedom From Religion Foundation patches on the right rear side. My do-rag has a gold Atheist atom pin on the tail .…

It's weird, but I never had the typical reaction to atheists when I was a believer. Oh sure, they were headed for hell, but I didn't presume to know or understand the reasons *why* they didn't believe. I didn't auto-dismiss them or hate their existe…
