Wow, I didn't know that. But I guess they would have had to. I think they could have made all the movies 3 hrs long, and people would have still sat through them.

Hmm, hard to say. They have to cut so much from those books to make the movies, and Hollywood does louse up a lot of things. But I think they'll get this one right because usually they make changes to a story to ADD a love connection. They don't usually take one out.
