I'm divorced, and my ex is a Christian. He takes the kids to church with him. My kids know my views, and I find it pretty easy to be honest and give age-appropriate answers without ridiculing the questions. I was raised in the church, and I turned out ok. :) I would rather they know what it's like, and know the stories than grow up ignorant. I have met a couple who are raising their kids to be atheists, and my feeling is that it is the same thing as forcing them to be Christians...let them see it all and come to their own concluclsions...
Yes we did, thanks for asking! The kids loved the snow :)
We're staying in for New Years...may be having a few friends over for some serious Scrabble head to head. (Really just because it's my turn to have my kids this year for NYE) We're dorks! How about you?
Well don't let the 12 year old scare ya. I'm a young'n (32) in the Allen mom community. :)
I work as a project manager for a Norwegian company that manufactures door locks and safes for hotels, and my man works for an elevator company as a construction superintendent. Nothing earth shattering, but we both enjoy our work.
Welcome to this excellent site and its bright atheists like you who recognise that religion is a fraud and gods are nothing but superstitions of the credulous.
