I used to live in Jasper Indiana, and would visit evansville all the time. I now live in marengo, about 100 miles east of Evansville. I am glad the Tri-state finally has a group. I have been thinking for a long time of leaving the small town of Marengo, and relocating to Evansville. If I decide to do this, I will definately join the group, and attend meetings regulary. Thanks for starting a group that would offer me something to do if I move back into the tri-state area.

I have a sociology and hsitory double major, with anthro. minor. They didn't have an anthropology emphasis there.. and I wasn't able to transfer because of a two year old. Now she's 18. They always fire professors for being anti-war and atheists and always have in this country so my research continued on my own which is how you truly learn anway!. Thank you for your nice remark. Keep me updated if at all possible.

I erased my initial statement about atheist communal living, and a host of other topics, ... due to what I've run into. Christian apologists also surface. I was a member of skeptical inquiry and those people online were berating me for pointing out facts, and so now I call them CAs..etc. Who is the "prof." I had horrible experiences at usi, it was like the Salem witch trials and has been for me every since. I got stuck here, I am not from here. These people are nazis, and I am not going to apologize about it! :)

I see how you got my name. I looked at the facebook deal, they all seem young, I mean in the sense the conversation may be limited. I have a degree in anthropology and what frigthens me is that people generally have the same traits as Christians, i.e. sexist, racist, etc. Maybe I can muster the courage and the brevity to show up sometime. Thank you.

I changed my real name to one of my favourite heroes, Inessa Armand. How did you get Stephanie, I wonder. I don't use computers except for research, but I'll check it out. If I can't find the patience for it I hope I can work around this.. :)

I've been gathering up local atheists for meetings for a while now. I have an interesting group going, and always looking to meet more local atheists. I'll check out your evansville page. :)
