Tom Sarbeck commented on Rachel Riley's blog post RAGE! (What I want to say but won't on FB)
"Rachel, your desire to reply is a compelling reason for replying, especially if you can express your anger at someone more powerful than you. Why? Because, as we who are in serious politics know, if the more powerful person's response to you…"

Tom Sarbeck commented on Debra Stevenson's blog post Do you ever regret having been religious?
"To answer this question I first have to weigh the effects of: 1. growing up in a violent home, and 2. going to (being sent to) Catholic schools. For a while religion served as an escape. In my teens I saw that RC prohibitions on birth control would…"

You actually lived through the depression years! I've learned many things on how NOT to act from my father, but lessons on money isn't one of them. (if that makes sense)

Fishwrap! Good one. I felt obligated to take the newspaper and "be informed". No more. And oh what a relief it is!

Thanks for the friending.  I will make every attempt to keep my posts friendly yet uncompromising.  You've provided good mental exercise.

I noticed in the one post you had made that you "were back - at least for a bit". Does this mean that you've taken your atheism elsewhere? Haha kidding aside, nice to see you posting again - please do stick around!

Thanks for the friending, Tom - I appreciate the encouragement on the post. I highly recommend viewing the Rockies at some point in everyone's life, particularly if you can dedicate a few days time, and do so leisurely. What a view.

Hello fellow atheists!  I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims.  I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists".  I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

Do you support 'traditional' marriage, vot now ad

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"!  .

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.  'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands.  Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…

i've got no problem with everyone saying "merry christmas" on christmas day.  however, they've turned it into an entire holiday season where it lasts a month or more.  in those situations it should be perfectly acceptable to say "happy holidays" or call it a…
