I know what you mean about how the responses can make you sad. It's disconcerting to see how many people are so wrapped up around utter bullshit. I also wonder why they're so afraid of anyone questioning what they believe that they have to deny that we even exist. Their "argument" that it "takes more faith" to believe in the big bang or evolution than it does to believe in Jesus, THEREFORE there are no true atheists is just pathetic. It's not all, "Oh these poor victims of bad programming" though. I'm reading a pretty disturbing book titled Religious Right - the Greatest Threat to Democracy by A.F. Alexander. There are tons of unscrupulous people out there raising billions of dollars and stealthily plotting to install old testament law that wouldn't be all that different from sharia law. If we don't collectively watch it, the dark ages could be back with a vengeance.

Hi Tom,

I didn't know "Hi. You perhaps know of the Vallejo Navy League's raising money to make the Iowa a museum. They didn't succeed and the ship went to SoCal.

I'm all for making ship monuments where their history can be told about the vessile and war.

It's a shame that Vallejo didn't aggressively persuade the museum. I don't know what's wrong with Vallejo and it's terrible handling of Mare Island.

Thanks, Tom.  About Nappy, I know I'm a controversial writer with views not everyone agrees with.  I take it all with a grain a salt.  We need a thick skin since we're the minority.
