"I think they were right to put him on, but should have asked him about his parties fiscal policies and plans for the NHS. I think if this had been done it, the boggle eyed bigot would have been completely out of his depth. I used to have to mix with…"
"Whatever the general feeling...it is probably better that folks can see the man that espouses such nonsense ...and let them make up there own minds as to his veracity!

Hey, I'm quite fine thank you. I guess I'm not the social networking type either because I don't really come and check here often either. Do you have any kind of messenger? I'd really fancy a chat with you in real life time.
Hey there back again. Sorry it took me a while, but I'm currently busy organising my studies at university (which is not as simple as I imagined). Funny, I had the same experience. I first became atheist as well... much much earlier before I ever had (positive) contact with socialism. Actually I was a great skeptic of the idea at first. I still find many ... well, how would you call it, it's the whole bunch! Prejudice, misunderstandings, misrepresentation, simple ignorance and even willful denial of the facts when it comes to socialism. Sometimes it's rather discouraging. :(
No problem. I like to contribute. In my opinion socialism has a reputation undeserved. I've stumbled upon it through a friend and while it didn't convince me immediately I found it fascinating. How come you discovered it for yourself?
