Fox news.. pure metrosexual cheerleading for the most racist mormon megalith companies on Earth; wrapped in a flag w/Palin and Romney holding hands with children they birthed... hugh, no seriously... Fox news... stole votes in 2000 no doubt; auto pi…

I think the White House is way too conciliatory to Fox News in comparison to how the Bush Administration dealt with media outlets it didn't like. However, I think directly calling out Fox News gives it more credibility. If anything, when Fox News i…

Here's an interesting bit comparing the Bush administration's treatment of news agencies they didn't like to President Obama's. Needless to say, Bush was a lot more childish about it. Given how venomous Faux News has been, I'm amazed at how tolerant…

Faux News is the network that won the right to force their reporters to lie on camera. They've terrorized any of their employees who showed a glimmer of independent thought, but they aren't satisfied with their highly distorted reporting of news. Th…

That's what someone else said when I discussed the issue with him. He pointed out that MSNBC has an obvous bias, too, and all the other networks to a lesser extent. So if we're going to pick on one news station for their contradictions, shouldn't we…

As of now, you cannot comment on this article on the NPR site since comments are closed for it, but you can still vote in the poll. Right now more than 80% of respondents support Fox News. Sad.

FOX is nothing more than right-wing propaganda promoting the neocon agenda. The right is in solidarity which can be seen by these poll results.

I'd have a lot more patience with Fox "News" if they would be honest about their bias and stop denying the obvious.

About Me
NEW NEWS FIRST: 7/28/08 - Violet Elyse was born at 0059 by emergency c-section. She's 10 weeks early! Surprise! Scary night. Mom and baby are doing well. Hoping for continued good news from the NICU.

I am a graduate student in atmospheric science working to get my MS. Basically I work with computer models of clouds for the time being.

You might be able to tell from the edges of the page that I'm interested in Mesoamerican archaeology. I got to spend quite a bit of time in Mexico, and I just fell in love with the ruins and the culture. In that distant bliss that shall be my retirement, perhaps I'll move out there.

I'm constantly reading blogs about atheism and climate change. What a combo, eh? It's fun be both a skeptic and a follower. Only, one set of skeptics is crazy. Big fan of the Friendly Atheist and realclimate.org. I'm not at all vocal in either place, but I just love to see what's on other people's minds. There are a lot of whackos out there...let them entertain me.

Live in Colorado to go to school, but I'm originally from Ohio. (It's a great place to be from.) Here's to the OSU three-peat!

Ha ha! It's an old Irish Pagan tradition originating from the Maori nose rub greeting - only we go one step further and pluck out the nostril hairs. It helps to build trust. ;-)

That doesn’t just make us oddballs or eccentric in their eyes. It makes us a threat to them, to the artificial belief and authority which is the entire structure of what makes their religions work. They are indeed frightened by us, which makes me t…

I used to eat a lot of free food cooked and served by the Krishnas. It sure beat anything I ever had at a Christian-sponsored soup kitchen.

I didn't watch it. I think they should scratch the game. In the past I found it fun to watch but it changed into an exhibition. Maybe they could have an all star weekend with skill tests and fan participation.

These demotivational posters are hilarious! "Creationism. Because desert goat herders living in tents 3000 years ago knew more about the cosmos and biology than mosdern day scientists" Rofl! Raptor Jesus is my new saviour!

Free Thinker, I'm agnostic on the whole determinism/free will problem, so I'm not going to go out of my way to argue on behalf of determinist. I will say though that it's experiments like Libet's that we'd expect to be the case if determinism is tr…

Her name was Sarah, and she went to church with me. She told me she would stay a virgin until God took her on her last dying day. And that she would stay a virgin unless God wanted her for himself. I told her she was deluded. And then proceeded to…
