I made these FSM for x-mas. One sits atop my tree at that time of the year.
Ruthe, I had too much going on at Halloween last year but it's my favorite time, I dress up also, and really wanted to be a FSM pirate. Bummer.

First christmas.

Yeah yeah yeah, I still celebrate christmas even though I'm atheist, old habits and customs are hard to break. Our christmas celebrations never involved a god, just good ole giving and receiving gifts and enjoying family. Well it's going to be a little different this year, a couple of firsts' for me.

I attended my mom's funeral today. My son Gary and his girlfriend are deaf so we were interpreting for them the funny stories that the pastor was telling. Of course we laughed and thought of my mom.
We didn't attend the dinner afterwards, we (my kids and their spouses and kids) went to a restaurant for lunch.
