Rainbow day/Pride Day at Six Flags over Atlanta

I spent the entire day at Six Flags over Atlanta this past Saturday for my son's birthday, and discovered that it just happened to also be Rainbow Day for the Atlanta Gay Pride movement. I wrote about it here: http://330m.wordpress.com/2012/08/26/rainbow-daypride-day-at-six-flags-over-atlanta/Suffice it to say that although the christian attention whores were out in force, they…See More

"Yes, he's an atheist, but apathetic to atheism. He just doesn't want to be expected to join any "Atheist Club". He's the libertarian atheist sort, kind of like Penn Jillette."

"Essentially, what we are seeing in American politics are people who would be committed as delusional psychopaths if they were having a two way conversation with any other imaginary figure besides "god", running for office. Awesome."

Politicians Pandering: "God calling on me to run" Where are they now?

This must be that "trikster god" I keep hearing about:Herman Cain:"I prayed and prayed and prayed," Cain told about 100 members of the Georgia Young Republicans in Atlanta on Saturday. "I'm a man of faith, I had to do a lot of praying for this one, more praying than I'd ever done before…See More

As a Christian

Xtians, Jews, Muslims (and I imagine other world religions) use speech that immediately casts a wedge between their religion and all other people (not just other religions). They casually throw out the phrase "As a Christian":

As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice. ...And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly, it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian…

Nigerian 419 scam – Mrs. Victory Komana

Posted on April 14, 2011 at 5:07am 0 Comments

I recently received a 419 scam email from Mrs. Victory Komana. 419 emails, or "Nigerian scam" emails are social engineering scam email messages, designed to separate the recipient from their money by relaying a massage of sorrow, as is in this one, or surprise for your good fortune, as in "You have just won 150 Million African Krugerrand". The payoff -… Continue

After taking in the latest movie from Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, my feelings are mixed. I feel that I should like the movie more, especially with its strong anti-theology slant (actually, only anti-Abrahamic religions slant), but I just don’t feel that it lives up to what the duo accomplished in “…
