The Devian replied to John Jubinsky's discussion Why Does Prince George Have Brown Eyes? in the group ORIGINS: UNIVERSE, LIFE, HUMANKIND, AND DARWIN
"It is less likely, by a large percentage, but if the parent with brown eyes, is a recessive carrier, then that trait can be passed on along with the one from the other parent, and make a child with the repressive color, or other trait. No mutation…"

"The old Pascal's Wager, they never for a second even consider that the religion they chose to put that faith in, is only one of thousands upon thousands, and picking the wrong one is as good as picking none at all, except with all the…"

The Devian replied to John Jubinsky's discussion Scientists Say Friends Share More DNA in the group ORIGINS: UNIVERSE, LIFE, HUMANKIND, AND DARWIN
"Would it just be that those who share more things on a genetic level, probably just have similar traits, and are more likely to be friends or at least friendly...? This strikes me as a big 'duh' moment. I suppose that it's kind of…"

"Yup, one more reason to call religion a pox on humanity. Treating other groups, women, and other races/groups, as 2nd class citizens or worse, property. Religion is evil, and this is just one more example."

About Me:
I am a life long atheist. I have been arguing against religion since my grandmother started to push it on me at the age of three, when I had to explain that magic wasn't real.

Devan, welcome to Atheist Nexus, a group of freethinking people who walk through the minefields of bigotry as we change a fundamental way of thinking. With your lifelong experience of arguing against religion, you will have a lot to say in our discussions, I am sure. This is a great place to express your ideas. There are differences of opinions, of course, and that is why this is such a rich and fertile site.
