My husband is still a conservative christian, but he rarely attends church. My oldest has been bugging us to go so we went to a nearby chruch this past Sunday. (I wish we had a UU church nearby I would rather go to one of those.) Anyway, it happened to be communion day. This so so weird. Do join groups like the busy discussion group “ORIGINS” (Origins: Universe, Life, Humans, Evolution, Religion..... ).

I have been running a long discussion (over 50 posts) there about being "Proud to be Atheist" because we should all be inwardly proud---and most of us outwardly proud too---seeing that atheists and humanists hold the intellectual high ground over the pathetic nonsense of the irrational, superstitious god believers.
