Tara commented on Meredith Tarkington's blog post Trying to explain my atheism to my grandparents...
"I was raised by my grandparents and a very religious aunt, so I definitely empathize with your relationships.  In my family, I also had some arguments with my grandmother and aunt; looking back one of the reasons I never made any headway with…"

"Haha, thanks. I do like some clubs, but they are the more laid back ones. A friend of mine plays in a local band and I go to their gigs whenever I have the chance. But, yeah, I usually don't stay that long...the longer I stay the drunker people…"

Tara replied to Dr. Terence Meaden's discussion ORIGIN OF ATHEIST PRIDE in the group ORIGINS: UNIVERSE, LIFE, HUMANKIND, AND DARWIN

Tara replied to Sarah Elle's discussion Atheists - What do you believe? in the group ORIGINS: UNIVERSE, LIFE, HUMANKIND, AND DARWIN
"My simple answer is that I don't know, but it's fun to think about. I do believe the Big Bang happened because I think the microwave detection experiment by Penzias and Wilson demonstrated it beyond a doubt. The fact that their detector…"

We debate origins of the Universe, life, Earth, humans, religion, atheism, using common sense, evolution, cosmology, geology, archaeology, and other sciences, to repel biblical creationism and other religious beliefs.
