I don't know if you've ever been privy to it, but one thing that I did deal with as part of my upbringing in a tightly controlled religious environment was apologetics. You know that current thing with Glenn Beck boiling rubber frogs, to evoke the classic story of boiled frogs? In addition to any rhetorical idiocies, or inappropriate connections he draws, I just want to say, to someone, somewhere, who might hear it: It's not even true. Frogs get out. Seriously. They're not as stupid as Mr Beck's audience wants to think they are.
