"Of course, if it is not the case that she came from no monkey, then it is the case that she came from SOME monkey!
Sometimes I just LOVE symbolic logic! [and idiots who indulge in double-negatives!]
I was raised without religion, as was my Mom, so I don't have a lot of religion in my family. I 'tried' catholicism for my husbands' sake when the kids were little, and after my daughters first-first communion class, she was 7, and I said "What did you think?", and she said "That jesus-thing sounds like a myth to me." LOL End of that!!!
I have let a couple of friendships fade away because I really can't handle the born-again, evangelical thing. And I absolutely hate how people here in Northern IL (and I'm sure everywhere), just talk about 'god' like there is one for sure, and you believe it as well. UGH. I'm 45 and it didn't used to bother me, but now it bothers me A LOT! So my social life has gotten smaller. My only first-cousin lives in Houston. She is VERY religious and VERY right-wing, and we don't have much in common! We keep in touch through e-mail, but I keep it light.

Actually, the rednecks are here and everywhere. Let me say, I'm not a big fan of these people. That's putting it mildly. Need I describe them? You know who I mean. This seems to be the time of year when they come out of the woodwork. Here in Indiana, as the weather gets nice, the motorcyclists are out in full force. I hate the noise cycles make. Then there's the Indianapolis 500 fans, the majority of which are rednecks. Interview them or a typical Pacer fan (big news as they face the Miami…See More
"Happy Holidays is a good enough saying for anyone at Christmas time. I support the phrase "happy holidays" rather than the bullshit most Americans were taught. Let's go back in time to look at meanings here. "Holidays"…"
