For agnostics, humanists, atheists and other freethinkers in the Evansville, Indiana area. Folks like us are few and far between, we might as well get to know each other, and maybe even have a few beers!
I certainly will, Inessa. We have several profs. One will not join Facebook, but is involved with the group. The open professor is Garrett Merriam, a PhD in Philosophy. We also have a Philosophy prof from UE though I haven't met him yet. Then we have from USI 3 others: English, Chemistry, and Biology. Including several faculty and more students. Lastly, remember you can always fall back on this group. While some in the group are apologetic, I attribute much of this to the human condition. Myself and the admins will not tolerate harassment or "witch trials" of any kind.
I hope you do. You sound very interesting from your comments. I'm not a philosopher(I work in physics),but I would enjoy some intelligent conversation if you ever did. I'll let you know when our "Skeptics in the Pub" has a meeting. One of our speakers is a PhD from USI and also a member of our group.
