I came to Atheist Nexus for friends and community with fellow freethinkers. I have found some of the warmest, kindest, most understanding people here. They are like an internet family I sit with each night, and sometimes during the day while I work from home, and I could not be happier to have found them. However, something is missing.
I took three years off dating to get a degree, find myself, figure out what I want in a relationship. I've done that now, and I plan to leave the bible…

Brent Feeney said… Can't blame ya. South Carolina wasn't my favorite place either. Felt like an outsider there, mostly because of my Midwestern roots. Never was accepted either there or in North Carolina by some elements. Their problem, as far as I'm concerned.
