"Heh, the way things are going we better start getting ready to colonize space in a few hundred. And I agree with you, we are very lucky to be alive now. We're at the point where we haven't screwed things up just enough to still have hope…"
"I haven't really read too many atheist books, but from the ones I have read my favs are The God Delusion and The End of Faith by Sam Harris. I tried reading God is not Great, but it's just way too dry for me. It's not really a…"
"The only qualifier to being an atheist is that you lack belief in the existence of gods. Every other belief is open to choice. So you can be an atheist and hate Christianity, or you can be an atheist and love Christianity. You can be a gay atheist,…"
"I played a lot of Starcraft 2 last summer and fall, it's a pretty great game. Since I haven't played in while I've pretty much forgotten all the macros and strats lol. Would love to play it again sometime."
"I haven't actually played a Shin Megami Tensei game before, but I am an RPG fan and this sounds interesting, so I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for the heads up!
Yeah the game series is probably just not popular enough to be…"
"Hey Monica, I didn't go through the same thing as you, but I understand how difficult it is to change your entire worldview. It's definitely a difficult change and a lot of emotions are going to come along with it. So yes, it is perfectly…"
"If I weren't so busy punching trees in Minecraft... :P Honestly, I agree with you for singleplayer since there really isn't any way to 'progress' other than to get the achievements. I have more fun playing multiplayer with…"
"Haha, more reason for me not to touch it. As sad as it is, I think I'm actually going to start waiting for reviews of Final Fantasy titles now when they come out. I actually preordered XIII and the official strategy guide because I was so…"
I grew up in a secular family (my mother is an atheist, not sure about my father), however, my close relatives (my father's parents) are highly religious. I've always been interested in science, even at a young age, because I've always been interested in finding out where we come from and what the meaning of our lives is. Asking those questions at a young age led to my father's parents telling me about their god, and I believed in the existence of that god throughout my early years. However, I began to move towards agnosticism around the age of 12 when I began asking serious questions (such as the infinite regression of who created the creator). In the last few years I found an interest in watching atheist-theist debates and reading books like "The God Delusion". After passively and inconsistently observing these debates for a few years, I eventually shed my theistic and supernatural beliefs altogether and became atheist.
My interests: literature, philosophy, psychology, golfing, and gaming.
I am an agnostic atheist with a naturalistic world view.
