Evening ^^I just Stumbled onto the site, and after poking around a little I decided to take my head out of the shell and sign up. I'm not really "used" to any kind of social site, but I look forward to being a member of Atheist Nexus . This seems like a really nice, classy place. - About Me
- I'm a high school senior and aspiring video game conceptual artist. I've been an Atheist all of my life (despite my grandmother's constant church pushing) and I grew up with my mom, a single mother, who has always been supportive and loving, despite her own beliefs of a God and Goddess. My step-father, though, loves to give me a hard time. But its all in good fun. He calls me ignorant, I call him senile, and we all love each other in our quirky little family of mixed and questionable belief (and of course, my lack-there-of)
I love to draw and write in my spare time, sometimes getting lost for hours behind the pencil or whatever medium I'm working with at the time. (Not paint though; paint hates me.) For some reason I'm awkward when it comes to drawing men, and though I haven't quite figured it out yet, I hope to get by it before college portfolios. ;)
I also like to mess around with images on Paint Shop Pro (Think..Photoshop) such as making little icons or wallpapers for my laptop. I've also been trying to get myself accustomed to digital coloring for hand drawn items....the adventure has been...interesting, to say the least. :P
But usually, if the creative spark doesn't strike me, folks can find me under the PSN ID Universe_Reset, usually shaving milliseconds off of Mirror's Edge time trials. Or you can find my boyfriend and fellow Atheist messing around on Metal Gear Online. (Go Kojima!)
Other than my quirks I think I'll have a lot of fun here on Atheist Nexus. Its so exciting to be around other people like me, and to talk with other people like me, instead of the usual StumbleUpon page of another Atheist being mistreated by religious folk.
