You're welcome! That's why discussions on chivalry are difficult, because people mean different things by it, and often don't know its history. As you saw in the video, what it was changed over time, but it certainly never was what the Victorians fictionalized, and people still believe to this day.
That whole series is great. I was surprised to learn that peasants had, at different times in European history, more agency than I'd known.. Also, that women had more freedom during certain parts of the Middle Ages than they did after the Renaissance and Enlightenment.
