Thank you so much for reading it! It's considered fairly taboo according to my family, how I'm not living with my parents. So many people have tried convincing my dad to take me back, but he just won't.
Oh well, I've learnt to make the best out of every situation.

As you saw in the video, what it was changed over time, but it certainly never was what the Victorians fictionalized, and people still believe to this day.

That whole series is great. I was surprised to learn that peasants had, at different times in European history, more agency than I'd known.. Also, that women had more freedom during certain parts of the Middle Ages than they did after the Renaissance and Enlightenment.
