Being an atheist doesn't mean you have a lack of beliefs in my opinion. Rather, you just don't have a belief in the existence of god I assume. I believe in goodness, I believe in volunteering and reaching out to other people. You're a Mom, so I'm guessing you believe in your children and in family.
