Nobody's heard of "a stitch in time..."?The fight against Ebola is grossly underfundedThe United Nations said this week that $1 billion in aid is needed to contain the Ebola outbreak. But a UN database tally of donations shows that many wealthy Western nations…See More

Poo Fools (us all)

Day after day I see Atheist Nexus members argue scripture details, spreading theistic memes here, without realizing their self-betrayal. Memetics still seems, to most, an abstract intellectual debate. We can't grasp religion as an infective agent. We can't see ourselves as merely copying machines for viruses.…

Hi Ruth

Just to say thanks for telling me part of your story. I can understand it; also my wife had IBS for several years. How it came and how it went, we do not know.
I’ve been on my relevant drugs for six years now. The cancer was found too late. It was already locally advanced when found, but the treatment is holding it at bay temporarily. Because I have the sword of Damocles above my head I am working like mad—maybe 60 hours every week, week on week, and getting out to major conferences, running sessions, giving lectures. Also writing several books, some are advanced or finished. Will publish as ebooks. This is why I spend little time on Atheist Nexus—so much to do.
So let’s keep smiling, both of us.   Yours, Terry.

The rules must be working Ruth. This is the cleanest site I've ever been on. I haven't seen the first bit of spam here and for the most part people are very civil to each other.
Maybe it's because there are no theists. I've seen theists become extremely nasty on other sites. Go figure.

Dear Ruth, I deleted the video immediately upon reading your message. It works in the U.K so I wouldn't think it's a problem. It was just an afterthought to the discussion and doesn't need to be replaced.
