Some of the things I like (in non-pretentious order): ABBA, Bukowski, cooking, Derrida, E. E. Cummings, Finster, global economics, Hesse, iTunes, Justice, Karma, Leonardo, Memetics, Nanotechnology, octopus (sashimi), Pirates of Penzance, Quetzalcoatal, Rumi, Stravinski, taxonomy, Umberto Eco, Vegemite, Wascally Wabbit, x-files, Yankovich (weird al), Zappa.
I raise backyard chickens. I dream of starting an urban organic farm to facilitate broader educational opportunities for at-risk youth ( farming offers a springboard to cross-diciplinary study of botany, chemistry, mathematics,...).
I've lived on the same street in Decatur for 9 years, in Georgia since birth.
I'm a classically trained musician, and I play every day (mostly jazz and esoteric strangeness now)
I have joint legal/physical custody of 2 daughters, 10 and 12 years old, which means I'm a full-time pop 1/2 of the time, 4 seasons. My family and friends give my life consistency and peace.
I've been a corporate IT consultant for 14 years. In late 2009 I became a trained civil mediator in the state of Georgia and I will find a way to combine mediation practice with my consulting. I'm constantly pushing the edges intellectually, education is a lifelong pursuit.
Hi and welcome to this friendly meeting place
where we recognise that religion is a superstition and a fraud that's used to control people, and that it is tragic and inexcusable that women have been oppressed these last 2000 years.
