They Are Rich, Not Job Creators

Lowering the tax rate on the rich, the “job creators”, will help job growth. Many Republican politicians, even some Democrat politicians, are claiming that this concept will create jobs. If the economic elites have lower tax burdens, because they don’t have enough money as it is, they will in return create jobs, be it in a corporation or a privately owned business. This is a lie.The rich are rich because they save money. The upper-class are not selfish devils, but they are not job creators…See More

I Pledge Allegiance

Every American-raised child can relate to this morning ritual. We all stand up, mumble a few words, and then continue our daily lives. This act is harmless enough, or is it?The pledge of allegiance needs to be removed from the public school setting. No child should be indoctrinated into pledging one’s self to a nation. No child should be forced to admit the existence of a god. But most importantly, no child should have to face scorn form their peers for having a different, but valid,…See More

Dear Moses...

So I hear you parted the Red Sea to get your people to the promise land right?

But there is no evidence of you doing this. “Scientists” say natural plate tectonics would have created this sea.

That is bullshit. I believe that you alone created this sea and saved your Jews. You lead them to the promise land.

But what happened to those Jews killed during the Crusades and the Holocaust ehy?

Why were you not able to part the lands so the Romans could not enter the…

You Are Still the 1%

From New York to Oakland to…Namibia? Yes a new “Occupy” movement has started in the in the poverty-ridden parts of Africa and South America and Asia. They have seen the immense power of protests that have caused absolutely no change in the industrialized world and have decided to take action. These starved individuals have decided to take to the deserts and rainforests to fight for their rights!

But you may ask who exactly their targets are? No it’s not the hedge-fund managers or…

The King of Bain

Posted on January 26, 2012 at 6:56pm 0 Comments

The devil, I mean Bain Capital, is a greedy monster. Mitt Romney and the other co-founders of this vulture capitalist firm are Hitler and Leopold reincarnate. As a Newt Gingrich super PAC shows in the short film “When Mitt Romney Came to Town”, Bain Capital tore down small businesses across America to feed its Wall-Street sized greed. How can we expect a selfish man like Willard Mitt Romney to be our president? Because he is smart, that’s why. In addition to serving his constituents (the…

My first funeral as an atheist

Posted by Two Cult Survivor on May 21, 2013 at 11:30am 0 Comments

I posted the bulk of this on another thread, but wanted to add some context separately.

I finally confronted my faith and embraced the fact of my atheism late last August, 2012. Days after I revealed my "epiphany" to a few friends who knew me from another message board, my sister died from Lou Gehrig's Disease (which pissed her off because she hated catching a disease from someone she never f---ed).

THAT was my sister, understand? She was a beautiful, life-loving, potty-mouthed…

Death of a family member

Posted by Larry Taylor on May 20, 2013 at 8:15pm 7 Comments

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone. She even refused to speak with my brother who is a methodist minister. He is a pip, let me tell you! I suspect she did not believe, but a woman born in her time could not and did not state her actual beliefs. This is the opening salvo to all christians; FUCK YOU! I had so many people come and tell…

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!

Posted by Christy Stewart on May 20, 2013 at 2:17pm 6 Comments

This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.

I work in a psychiatric hospital. The doctors who admit patients are general MDs. (Psychiatrists see patients after admission) Yesterday evening we received several calls from irate parents. A new doctor who was doing admissions yesterday actually…

anti-atheist rant from an Orthodox Mormon part 2

What do you think of this,

Nathan Young,

No Jason Torpy it is you that should be banned for promoting atheism, a belief that has no foundation in reality and zero proof behind it.  The letter was a mockery of your atheist beliefs.  I request to the board here that they remove Jason for his unverifiable beliefs in atheism for which he has no proof other than his arrogance.  The letter was a mockery of atheism.  Atheism is stupid and it should be mocked and it…
