"Religion, however, is one area in which the 'parent' never leaves (or the child never leaves the parent.) The God-blankie is always around when the world becomes scary. "God: A security blankie for adults.""

Hello Robin Wilson, and welcome to this friendly meeting place with freethinkers like you who recognise that religion is a fraud aimed at controlling vulnerable superstitious people, including defenceless children; and
how tragic and inexcusable it is that women and minorities have been oppressed these last two thousand years and even longer.

Terry Meaden
founder of the busy group "ORIGINS: Universe, Life, Earth, Humans, Religion, Evolution, Darwin..." with its 280 discussion topics.
We invite you to join us and 1650 others.
