Profile Information

About Me: I am interested in meeting radical folks of color, who are atheists in my area, who are working for social justice. I am currently volunteering with an organization, which serves very healthy meals to houseless folks and the greater community for less than two dollars. At the same time we provide this social service, we work within the framework of a racial justice and anti-oppressions lens, to end the systemic causes of poverty and homelessness. I went to school for social work, but I am not a social worker because I am against the increasing professionalization of the field. Especially, when the purpose of many in the profession is to enforce the societal norms that create and maintain oppressions.
