"Excellent post, I read it earlier today as well. I find it interesting that Fluoride isn't listed as being found in water, but in solvents and pesticides. Strange that they would omit that it is added to many municipal water…"
"I guess I just don't accept the premise. Atheism doesn't mean believing everything came from absolute nothingness, atheism is just the statement that there is no or are no gods. I don't believe this or other universes came from…"
"I can tell you what worked for me finding a conservative woman even though it was by accident. I wasn't looking for a girlfriend or relationship at the time.
I met my wife online in 1997 before people were regularly meeting that…"
RE; Job change. For starters, I am going to start leading a workshop based on the book (take a breath if reading aloud), How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk, by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish (maze-lish). I…"
Does this mean that you are labeling the MET Office, the UK's official meteorological weather service as a right wing climate denier service?
The research by the UK weather service, MET Office is scientific research.
"Ruth, Those charts are all well and good, but they don't show the whole picture. As referenced in the article, much fanfare was accompanied with the release six months ago of climate data that only went to 2010 which looks like what…"
"Global warming stopped 16 years ago, reveals Met Office report quietly released... and here is the chart to prove it
That's the headline to a great article relaying the latest MET Office (the United Kingdom's national weather…"
"One other thing for Loren and even booklover
I thought I should include the definition of a bigot here. I do have strong opinions, but it seems that my views are more flexible than are yours.

"Been a busy day it looks like. I actually love true debate like this. That is why I was so upset with the discussion stopping use of the term bigot and got me originally posting.
Where to begin, I guess first, in my earlier response I…"
"Loren, that is why there should be discussion and argument over the issue and not just shouting down somebody as a bigot. You say a woman has a sole right to determine what goes on with her body, I agree. But you fail to see that the…"
"Wow Loren, as a conservative atheist it always amazes me listening to liberals. When we conservatives disagree with liberals we think you are wrong, but when liberals disagree with conservatives, not only are we wrong, but we are bigoted and many…"
"I know it sucks that wages didn't keep up with productivity the way it used to, but isn't that because technology started replacing the need for highly skilled workers? Advancements in robotics and computing replaced people in…"
RE; Job change. For starters, I am going to start leading a workshop based on the book (take a breath if reading aloud), How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk, by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish (maze-lish). I led it once over a decade ago, when my daughter was around age 5. Leading that workshop would fill two hours a week for 6-7 weeks. I am not sure how else I will fill my wish for part-time work. I want to be able to follow my daughter to some of her sports and acting activities, (she is seventeen, a junior), also help her visit colleges, and find scholarships. I like the teaching aspect of teaching, and the kids. I would hope for a class size of 15-18, and less meetings. I would have to go back to school for two years to earn that degree. I could probably easily find full time office work, but I want part-time until my daughter graduates.
I'm with you, Robert. Though it is difficult for me to be associated with those who have hijacked the conservative mindset and values. The likes of Coulter and Limbaugh and the religious nutters like Falwell and Robertson are an embarrassment and a perversion.
